Hospital Workforce Profile Resource Guide

IHA offers members the opportunity to display a profile in the "Hospital Profiles" section on the Illinois Health Care Careers web site on a first-come, first-served basis. The hospital workforce profile pages, a compilation of hospital workforce development activities unique to each hospital, serve as a resource for people interested in local health care careers, as well as an effective advocacy resource for hospitals as they interact with community members and legislators.

Complete your hospital profile in three easy steps:

1. Identify hospital coordinator and provide IHA information. Send IHA staff the name of your hospital coordinator. IHA will work with the hospital coordinator to:

  • Outline the people and/or department information may be needed from.
  • Provide resources to the coordinator, such as:
    • A conference call with hospital staff, and/or
    • An onsite visit from IHA staff
  • Discuss the timeline to complete the process

2. Review draft profile. Once IHA receives the completed workforce information tool, a draft profile page will be developed. IHA will return the draft profile to the coordinator and will:

  • Set up a call to review the mock-up with the coordinator
  • Request additional information, if necessary
  • Determine expected date of mock-up return

3. Approve final profile. Submit revisions to IHA staff, and if complete, IHA will post your hospital's unique profile on the Illinois Health Care Careers web site.
